This site is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as IP address and requested pages, to deliver and protect the site under its own terms and privacy policy.
Our newsletter and contact forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a short check in your browser and processes technical signals about your browser and device to distinguish visitors from automated bots. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not access, store, or transmit form entries.
How information is used
We may use information to respond to messages, review tips and correction requests, deliver requested communications, maintain site security, comply with law, and enforce our terms.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us host the site, deliver messages, or operate our systems. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
Newsletter signups are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and used to send Revere Signal updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by asking us through our contact form. Contact-form submissions are stored with Cloudflare and reviewed by our team.
Google Analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to measure readership by article, desk, and author; successful newsletter signups; campaign and referral sources; device information; and approximate country, region, and city. These reports do not tell us an anonymous reader’s name or email address. We do not intentionally send contact-form contents or subscriber email addresses to Google Analytics. Cookies and your choices
We do not set cookies for readers to operate the site. The only cookies described below are optional and load only after you allow them.
Google Analytics loads only after you enable Google Analytics in Cookie settings or select Accept all. It uses _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and maintain session information; these may last up to two years and may be renewed during use. We keep your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. You can accept, reject, or withdraw permission using Cookie settings on any page. Withdrawing permission stops subsequent Google Analytics collection and removes the Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site; it does not erase information already collected. Blocking browser storage may prevent us from remembering your choice.
If you enable Meta marketing cookies, Meta Pixel sends website visit information to Meta for advertising measurement. Meta may associate this activity with your Facebook or Instagram account and process it under its privacy policy. Meta may use cookies such as _fbp and _fbc. We do not enable automatic advanced matching or intentionally send subscriber email addresses or contact-form contents to Meta. You can withdraw marketing permission through Cookie settings; this stops subsequent Pixel collection and removes accessible Meta cookies, but does not erase previously collected information. We do not enable Google advertising personalization in our website tag. Essential security services continue to operate when you reject optional cookies.
Retention and security
